Today we wish Abbie Singer all the very best as she begins her next adventure – motherhood!

Abbie joined our Yeovil office 18 months ago to carry out her Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship through Yeovil College.

We are proud to offer Level 2 Business Administration apprenticeships here at One Step Recruitment; our apprentices are then given the chance to study for Level 3 Recruitment Resourcer, which is unique to the industry. For One Step, it is crucial that our apprentices feel a valued part of our full operation.

We encourage our apprentices to be fully involved in the entire recruitment process and receive the same full training as any other member of staff. A dedicated senior staff member mentors each apprentice and a day a week is spent reviewing their development and coursework.

On her last day in the office Abbie reflected “The past year and a half has been an incredible journey for me, from beginning my apprenticeship and the constant support and guidance from my colleagues has allowed me to grow as an individual. I am going to miss the office whilst on my maternity leave and I can’t wait to return and progress further with this company when I am back”!

We encourage clients we recruit for to offer apprenticeships, leading by example. In our commitment to corporate and social responsibility, One Step Recruitment pledge a regular donation of our profits to The One Step Foundation. The Foundation is best known for our annual Somerset Skills & Careers Fair – the largest of its type in the South West, attracting over 80 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors each year. Our mission is to inspire young people to achieve their potential after leaving school/college, with apprenticeships being a well-respected career path a student can choose to follow.

All the best Abbie, there will always be space for you here at One Step Recruitment.
