#ThrowbackThursday to last week, when One Step Foundation / Recruitment joined fellow local businesses to lead a series of workshops for the Year 10/11 students at Huish Episcopi School.
The students enjoyed a day of careers advice, with One Step introducing pupils to the world of work and recruitment agencies, imparting valuable social media, CV and interview advice, which really grabbed the pupils’ attention.
Emma Higman, Independent Careers Advisor covering Huish Episcopi and Holyrood Academy commented: “feedback from students has been really positive and they found your workshop to be very informative.”
We are in a fortunate position to be able to deliver these workshops to the workforce of tomorrow and really enjoy working with local schools. We look forward to seeing all the local schools at our very own Somerset Skills & Careers Fair on 11th October 2017, where students can mix with over 80 exhibitors at a fun and informative event.
