Yet again, what an event and what a day!
The 2015 One Step Foundation Somerset Careers Fair was the barn-storming success we hoped it would be. With high expectations from exhibitors and visitors based on the 2013 and 2014 events, we had a lot to do!
Once again we had more than 80 brilliant exhibitors including the very popular School of Scratch, an airsoft rifle range provided by the army, live radio broadcasting from Pulse FM, hair products and nail bar, employability skills zone with mock interviewing, and not to mention the hugely talented Flash Mobs provided by The SPACE!….
After today’s final count, we had 3185 visitors from 26 schools and colleges from as far afield as Bristol, Shepton Mallet, Yeovil, Wells, Tiverton and Sidmouth. Some came in groups arranged by their school or college and others came under their own steam having seen our adverts on social media, in schools, libraries and many different websites.
Feedback from our exhibitors this year has been even better than before with many pointing out a real ‘buzz’ throughout the day…and here’s to an even better event in 2016!
