One Step Recruitment are pleased to welcome Luke Bradford to the Taunton Team.
He’s joining the team as our new Client Services Consultant, working within our Industrial team.
Luke will be our client liaison, business developer and consultant support in a very competitive field in Mid-Somerset – he’ll be split between building on our existing relationships with some of our longest-served industrial clients, and focussing on business development with new clients.
Luke has come to One Step after a 3 year career in teaching, where he taught Maths at Taunton’s very own Bridgwater and Taunton College, after studying Biochemistry at Bristol University.
He has come into recruitment at a challenging time in the industry, but at a time when the relationships you build and maintain are vital – ensuring clients understand and trust your service, and have someone to speak to wind, rain or shine.
“I loved teaching, and the part about it I loved the most was the human element of the job – watching young, intelligent and driven people see a problem, and learn how to fix it. The fact I’ve worked in a highly pressured public service role and studied a STEM subject means I’m acutely aware of the pressures and shortages in key industrial and technical sectors in Somerset”.
