Alyshah Devos is joining us as a Recruitment Administrator and Marketing Support, based in our Commercial Team in Taunton.
Prior to joining One Step, Alyshah was Researcher and Administrator within recruitment, but wanted a role where she could not only push her career into new and exciting places, but where she could make a real difference to people’s lives and become a professional recruiter!
Before finding her feet in recruitment, Alyshah spent some time travelling after a youth career as an international gymnast, where she was competing at British National Level.
She moved to Somerset in Aug 2018 after growing up and working in London: she studied as a Legal Secretary but found Recruitment was far more rewarding. In her own words “I found recruitment is such an immediate and important way to help people. Knowing I can help people in some little way, even if it’s just giving someone the confidence to apply for a job, or help them with their CV, all the way up to placing someone at the job of their dreams – it’s so rewarding”.
Alyshah has hit the ground running at One Step, and we can’t wait to see her flourish at our agency and in her career.
